i figured... so many threads about your worst this... your most unlucky that... i can contribute also!

write the worst CA group that ever spawned for you, and how you lost (won?).

ill start:
1. r/me (me, playing a spiker build)
2. w/mo
3. w/mo
4. w/mo

i figured it can't ne THAT bad... maybe one of them smites...
at the same time, they all started casting mending. it was so scary. all of them having that little symbol over their head, and me scrolling through them one by one, only to see mending on each of them. it was terrifying...

we came up against two monks (boon prot and smiter), a spiteful spirit necro and an illusion mesmer.
it was over so fast i could barely attack before i was the last standing. i can still recall them screaming "REZ U NOOB!!!".
i tried...

Air spiking ele/mes (me)
3 W/Mo(lol they always seem to b in the bad teams)

against 3 ranger spikers and 1 trapper ranger
u can imaging which target they called first.
Now i died just after casting my attunes (they were using longbows) and the three W/Mo just attack the same target only dealing abt 10 dmg each hit. They each seperately tried rezing me but restore life isnt very practical when against 3 spikers with interupts. Well the warriors died after abt 40 secs of hit and heal and they all called me a noob for dying so early.

The funny thing is, they all claimed to be experienced and were using mending and restore life.

One time in CA my team was me and three monks. One monk said that we could never win and left. Another monk left without saying anything. Seeing the other two leave the last teammate left. My death was very quick

I think it's going to be a common trend that everyones worse CA team involved 3 W/Mo.I know mine - I was playing Mo/N boon prot. We got about 4 wins somehow, they were all talking with each other about how awesome their damage was etc, and at one time one of them said Sprint and Frenzy were useless... at which time I decided to jump in and was promptly told to shut up because I was a "noob monk".

We won once because I had dealt damage fast enough before I died and in the second match we lost. I was spamming that I was dead constantly to fill up there chat screen but I guess they were newbies or just stupid, carrying no rez sigs.

Well, I was the worst one ever, for a lark. I brought a sacrificing build and killed myself with a quick BiPping, then complained the whole time that the others were supposed to animate minions and rez me, and that it worked so much better with the necro I was with earlier.

Note: I'm not a jerk, I just figured it would make for some good storytelling, by someone, somewhere.

Why is it, when I play a caster of ANY kind, I’m usually on a team with all casters?

Why is it, when I play my warrior or my ranger, I usually end up on a team with all warriors and rangers?

I mean, I know it’s random and I shouldn’t complain; just my luck seems to head toward severely imbalanced teams.

lol, me and a guildie did this once. We went to the TA's with me a rezmer and him a saccer. Since we had an incomplete team I believe it send us to the CA's. Once he started dying and I started rezzing we would yell stuff like, "ZOMG MAKE DOODS!!11" or "U guys R noobs1 u gotta make dudes!." One time we had this noob W/Mo on our team that started freaking out when we did it and she yelled, "How do I make dudes?" When we lost she asked what we did wrong. :P

lvl 16 necro not sure what he was doing

we enter the battle the 55 monks get killed by one necro doing vampric gazes and touches
and the necro gets spiked and i just quit.

i tried to do MF in TA too... i was MM...

we started in the lava map thingy. they won 36 to nothing.

The worst where it wasn't me making it bad:
Me (Probably ranger spike at the time)
W/mo (paladin prebuilt)
E/* (Fire ele)
*cant remember*

The cant remember probably just left or got spiked out quick. The ele brought what seemed like all long cast time AoE's...He spent his 20 secs of life trying to Cast Metoer Shower and the like. I lasted awihle vs 3 of the opponent team, but was overpowered. Then the paladin runs over in the middle of taking fire from 4 guys, and trys to Restore Life me...

Yea..

A couple of times I made theteam bad myself. Funny stories. I run 2 different bad boy builds when I'm bored.

FIRST:R/Me - Eoe Bomb Saccer
I put on armor with 4 sup runes in it.
Start the battle by putting up EoE.
Then kill myself with IoW (illusion of weakness).
Then watch the reactions. Sometimes if they dont comment I'd say something like "Man..This works alot better in Tombs".

SECOND: My fav - R/* - Spirit Spammer
I'd carry 5-6 Spirits, and defensive stances/troll for the rest. Spirits mostly include Nature's Renewel, Frozen Soil, Muddy Terrain, Quickening Zhepher, Edge of Extinction,Primal Echoes, Symbiotic Bond (only set if other team has pets), Winter (any combination of 6 of those).
Start the battle by casting all the spirits and just watch the reaction.
Sometimes I'd go into Team channel and and complain about how you are supposed to surprise the enemy and use the situations against them.

(My favorite reaction to the spirit one, was in 1 battle, where both teams refused to move on each other until I let the spirits drop - for 5 minutes my team sit at one side of the spirits and the other team sit at the other side of the spirits [just out of range]).

EDIT IN: to the guy above me, yes, when someone sacs themself it counts.

The best are sometimes the worst. I was once in a game where no one died for minutes, both teams were doing good, and there were clearly active with their skills on both sides.. but this got really boring so I finally left.

I suppose the real strategy would have been to identify the enemy's weak spot, but that would have required more coordination or something like teamspeak so I figured, leave it be. That's the only time I left a CA game before the end.

worst team was one that was so bad one person left before we even started, because that person left the other left, and because them 2 had left, the 3rd one left leaving me there, so i just left :/.

I bet the opposing team was laughing so bad, but il remember that for ever.
